About Malmosto
Malmosto Wineshop and Kitchen combines the best of the old world with the best of the new world. Proprietors Chef Andrea Bozzolo (originally from Pallanza in Piedmont, Italy) and Restaurateur Rossella Savinelli (from Caserta, Italy) have gathered an impressive selection of carefully curated, high-quality wines from renowned regions and wineries. The diverse range of varietals on offer, including bold reds, crisp whites, and sparkling wines, are expertly paired with a delectable array of artisanal cheeses.
The ambiance is cozy with knowledgeable staff on hand to guide customers in their selections and offer pairing suggestions. The goal was to create a small oasis for wine, pizza and small plate enthusiasts in the Sarasota area.

It was the best. Would go back again. Unfortunately I live in Melbourne, FL. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. A must for anyone in Sarasota

Pizza is best in Sarasota. Music is to loud. It’s a food and wine establishment not a bar, turn it down so you can have a conversation.

Malmosto on Siesta Drive is a hidden gem in Sarasota — an intimate wine shop + kitchen that delivers incredible food, atmosphere, and service. The space feels warm and cozy, like a tucked-away speakeasy, which makes it perfect for date nights or relaxed dinners. The wood-fired pizzas are outstanding and you can tell they use quality ingredients.

Delicious pizza, best calamari I've had outside of Spain, and the foccacia was insane. Still thinking about that crispy, stuffed foccacia now! Service is wonderful. Great wines. Firing on all cylinders.
